5th Annual Sunset at Sunwood
Benefit Event for Literacy Suffolk, Inc.
Sunwood Mansion, Old Field
Saturday, October 20, 2007
5pm - 8pm

The 5th Annual Sunset at Sunwood was a big hit! Literacy Suffolk was privileged to have this opportunity to recognize Senator John J. Flanagan and Mr. Thomas Maligno of Touro Law Center as literacy advocates. In acknowledgment of their influence in effecting change by expanding community awareness, each was presented Leadership in Literacy awards.

Guests were treated to the lovely setting provided at the Sunwood Estate in Old Field, New York, and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres catered by Chartwells. A silent auction was held, made possible by the array of wonderful items donated by generous artists and business proprietors.

This year’s Sunset at Sunwood serves to launch the organization’s 30th year. We invite you to join us in celebration throughout the year.
Please check this website periodically for calendar updates of events and activities.
